Phalaenopsis amabilis (Moon Orchid)

Moon Orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) is a species of the genus Phalaenopsis. It is one of Indonesia's national flowers (along with Jasminum sambac and Rafflesia arnoldii), discovered the first time by a Dutch botanist Dr. C. L. Blume. This type of orchid can be found from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines to Australia. It is a monopodial orchid that likes a little sunshine to support its life[citation needed]. The roots color is white, and the flower has little fragrant. It is able to bloom for a long period of time and can grow up to 10 cm in diameter and more.
