Part 3: Putting the image together with various PI effects:
At this stage my image and Layer Manager look like this



With your base image selected, go to Adjust in the Menu Bar --- Expand Canvas and use these settings:



Edit: Fill - Gradient tab and fill with the red gradient, same settings as before.

Go to Photo -- Noise -- Add Noise -- click on Options and apply these settings:



Go to Photo -- Sharpen -- Custom Filter. In the new box that opens, click on the Samples button and select: Sharpen (light). It wil add a little "bite" to the background.

Right click: All
Right click: Border with these settings:



Right click: Convert to Object.
Right click: Arrange -- Bring to Front.
Edit: Fill with your gold pattern image.
Rename this layer: outer frame.
Photo: Focus - click on the third thumbnail on the top row.
Deselect and save your work.


Open the red lady object, that we made in the first part of this tutorial.
Press Control on your keyboard and using your Pick Tool, drag a copy of the object to your image.
Right click: Arrange and Send to Back. Rename this layer : blur.
Go to Photo: Blur -- Gaussian Blur -- Click on Options and use these settings:



Keep selected.
Go to Effect: All -- Puzzle and use these settings:



Right click: Align -- Left.
Right click": Align -- Center Vertically.
Go to Photo: Focus - and click the third thumbnail on the top row.
Save your work.
Your image should look similar to this:




Deselect

With your Pick Tool, drag another copy of the red lady object to your image and put in place like this:



Rename this layer: lady, it should be on top in your Layer manager:



Right click: Shadow. Please use these settings:



For a more natural look, we will fade out the top of the shadow.
Right click: Split Shadow. The shadow will be on the layer beneath the lady layer.
Rename this layer shadow. With the shadow layer selected:



Go to Edit: Fade-out. In the new box that opens, please use these settings:



and click OK. Deselect.

In your Layer Manager: click on the outer frame layer, right click on it and Arrange: Bring to Front

In your Layer Manager: click on the shadow layer, right click: Arrange - Send Backward.

Deselect.
