Install the Pool Shadow filter and restart your copy of PhotoImpact. Open the wd-dover-ornament-mask.
Open a new white canvas, in the box that opens, click the Active Image radio button:

With the new image active, Rc.: Import Selection. Rc.: Invert. Rc.: Convert to Object. You may close the mask now. Keep selected.
In the Menu bar: Edit - Fill - Color tab - Change the color to #C14D3C and click OK..

Keep selected. Rc.: Shadow with these settings:

Keep selected. Rc.: Split Shadow. Rc.: Shadow again using the same settings as above, only click the 4th icon now:

Keep selected. In the Menu bar click: Effect - Greg's Factory Output Volume 2 - Pool Shadow and please use these
settings:

Keep selected. Change to the Transform Tool and Rotate the frame 90 degrees to the left

Repeat the Pool Shadow using the same settings and and rotate the frame 90 degrees to the right and deselect.
Open the wd-morisot38detail image. Rc.: Copy and minimize it.
Change to the Magic Wand Tool. Please use these settings:

Click on the white center part of your image to select it. Rc.: Expand/Shrink. Expand the selection with 1 pixel.
Keep selected. Menu bar: Edit - Paste - Fit into Selection.

Keep selected. Change to the Paintbrush tool with these settings: Color: #60261E

Click Shift+P on your keyboard to Paint on Edges. It will give some depth to your image.
Keep selected. In the Menu bar: Photo - Focus - Options - check the Auto-adjust box and click OK and deselect.
We will contine with the backgound. Rc.: All. Menu bar: Edit - Paste - Fit into Selection. Keep selected.
Photo - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Options - Radius: 25.

Keep selected. Menu bar: Effect: Fills & Textures - Texture filter. Click the second thumbnail (1), click on the little arrow on top (2)
and select: Add Texture.

Browse to the folder with your tutorial materials and select the wd-squares texture file and adjust the settings like so:

When you are happy with your results, Rc.: Merge All. Add your watermark or name to the image, optimize and save your work.
