Instructions:
Now with the same settings, draw a vertical line any length. Right click: Properties: Left: 30 Top:76 Width: 1 Height: 300



Duplicate the line. Using you Arrow key on your keyboard, click the right arrow button 5 times. Deselect. Draw another horizontal line any size. Right click: Properties: Left: 13 Top: 133 Width: 65 Height: 1.
Duplicate this line 2 times and select all three horizontal lines that are on top of your Layer Manager. Right click: Align: Space Evenly. Same settings as before:



Select the two vertical- and the three horizontal lines in your Layer Manager using the Control key again:



Merge as a Single Object. Duplicate. Transform Tool: Flip Horizontally and right click properties again: Left: 420 Top: 76.
Deselect. This is what my image looks like:



Pick up your Text Tool from the Tool Panel. In your Text Panel find the Odalisque font and use these settings:

color is background color; mode is 2D and the alignment is center:

Note: You need to type capitals to get this font to work ;-)



Type an E and hit return, type a L and hit return and so on. Place your text as shown:



Change the font size to 22 and type your name or initials and place them on the other side of the portrait.

Right click: Select all Objects, now is a good moment to drag your objects into your EasyPalette for later use if you like. Merge as a Single Object. Right click: Shadow with these settings:




Deselect. Now we will work on the background a bit. Go to Photo in the Menu bar - Noise - Add Noise:




We will add some texture now. Effect: Fills and Textures - Texture Filter. Click the second thumbnail of the first row:




In the top right corner click the little arrow next to the texture image and click on: Select Texture.
In the new box that opens select the texture with the vertical lines (emboss009.bmp)




and use these settings:




Click OK - and click: Apply current frame effect to image.
We are almost done now. Right click: Merge All. Like we did with the larger Elvis image earlier,
add a 1 pixel border with the background color
add a 1 pixel border with the foreground color
add a 1 pixel border with the background color
add a 1 pixel border with the foreground color
add a 1 pixel border with the background color

Optimize and save your image. That is all, I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial as much as I liked writing it for you.
