| Click on the Switch button that is in the top right corner of your
PhotoImpact interface. And click: Ulead Gif Animator. ![]() It will open your copy of Gif Animator. On the opening screen, click: Open an existing image file ![]() and browse to your desktop folder, where you saved your ufo file and click on it. This will open the Gif Animator workspace and it will look like this: ![]() I have outlined the functions that we will need for this simple animation. As you can see in the Frame Panel, Gif Animator has created the first frame for us. We will need a total of 4 Frames for this animation. In the Object Manager Panel, hide the medium and lighter layers by clicking on the eye: ![]() This will be the settings for our first frame. In the Frame Panel, right click on Frame 1 and click: Duplicate Frame. In the Object Manager: hide the darker layer and make the medium layer visible. ![]() These are the settings for Frame 2. Right click on Frame 2 : Duplicate Frame. Hide your medium layer and make your lighter layer visible. ![]() These are the settings for Frame 3. Right click and duplcate Frame 3. Hide your lighter layer and make your medium layer visible again. ![]() These are the setiings for Frame 4. We have added Frame 4 to achieve a smoother transition between the frames. Click the Preview tab. ![]() That is a bit too fast. Click the Edit tab. Press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and select all the frames. ![]() Right click: Frame Properties. In the new box that opens fill in 22 for the delay time (22/100 sec.) ![]() Go to Preview again. I think it is better now, but feel free to set it even slower or faster. It is your image ;-) The higher the delay time, the slower your animation will be. Click the Optimize tab. In the Preset box, change the preset to Line Art 256. ![]() This will reduce the size of our animation to about 44 Kb, which I think is not bad for a rather large image. Go to File -- Save as ----- Gif file. Give it a name and save it to the folder on your desktop. You are done !! I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial as much as I liked writing it for you. Feel free to grab the award below if you like. ![]() Site map |
