| Click on the top layer in your Layer Manager, right click and: Select all Objects. Go to Adjust in the Menu Bar and click Resize with these settings: ![]() Deselect. Using your Pick Tool , make a selection around the second row of your text objects: ![]() the bottom row will be selected. Put them in place like this: ![]() Right click: Select All Objects Right click: Align - Bottom Right click: Align - Space Evenly with these settings: ![]() Right click: Merge as a Single Object. Right click: Align: Center Both. In your Layer Manager:Rename this layer: medium. ![]() Go to Photo in the Menu Bar and click on Focus and click Options Put a check mark in the Auto-adjust box and click OK. Save your work. With your text object still selected: Right click: Duplicate. Rename this layer: darker. Right click: Arrange: Send to Back. ![]() Right click: Duplicate. Rename this layer: lighter. Right click: Select All Objects. Right click: Group Right click: Align: Left. Right click: Ungroup. Lock all three layers, so we won't move them accidently. Otherwise it will spoil the animation later on. Deselect. ![]() Select your "darken" layer in your Layer Manager by clicking on it. Go to Adjust in the Menu Bar: Brightness and Contrast - Brightness: -20 (minus 20) ![]() Select your "lighter" layer in your Layer Manager. Go to Adjust: Brightness and Contrast - Brightness: 20. ![]() Deselect. Open your boyflag ufo and drag it onto your text canvas. Place it with your Pick Tool and lock that layer. It needs some color adjustments, especially the flag. Go to Adjust: Hue and Saturation: ![]() Go to Photo: Focus and click the 3rd thumbnail of the top row. Rename this layer: boy. Optional: I added the text: Memorial Day to my image. I used the Vivaldi font for it using a blue color sampled from the boy's flag. Maybe you want a different text or none at all, it is up to you. Click on any layer to select it, right click: Select All Objects. Change to the Crop Tool. On the Attribute Toolbar click on Options and click on: Active Selection/Object(s). Now click the Crop Button and Deselect. ![]() My image looks like this: ![]() And my Layer Manger looks like this: ![]() Save your work as an ufo file to your desktop folder.
